about

The release of their first full length album “The Sun of Endless Spring” is homage to traditional rock n’ roll with chewy chunks of psychedelia in every bite. A self produced record of dirty, grungy guitars, psychedelic drones, interesting and effective stream of consciousness lyrics sang through a hall of reverb, over a terrain of Bonham-esque drumming with moments of clarity and moments of madness.

Billow, their sophomore effort, pulls back the veil of psychedelia to showcase their rock and roll heritage. Well crafted songs take shape from gleaming guitars, soaring harmonies, thunderous drums, and solid bass lines. Recorded in their home studio built during the Sun of Endless Spring sessions, the room sound envelops all the tracks to bring them into the tangible space in front of your eyes. Billow’s personality seems to mimic an ocean. Sometimes shimmering with beauty, brooding with tension, or exploding with inspiring power. The album title means “A great wave,” the high water mark of the band's’ catalogue has been lifted.

This Seattle rock band that boasts “Heavy Grooves with Classic Roots” impresses with their inspiring live show. TLA has been together since 2006 and continue to play the Seattle music scene and the surrounding areas of the Pacific Northwest. “The rock quartet definitely have no shortage of talent...this is the type of rock n roll that makes you want to grow your hair long and learn guitar or drums...” -Lindsey Scully of SSG Music.
